About Us
Welcome to Turning Pointe Academy for the Performing Arts. We are located at 3000 US-52 in West Lafayette, minutes from Purdue University, and walking distance from many restaurants and shops.
We offer classes for the recreational dancer to the intensive dancer, from preschool to adult. Classes include Ballet, Pointe, Tap, Jazz, Hip Hop, Lyrical, Contemporary, Tumbling, and Pom. We also offer Bungee Fitness and piano instruction for both kids and adults!

Our Story

At Turning Pointe Academy for the Performing Arts, we welcome all students, and feel that each dancer can find the proper fit within our academy.  The diverse curriculum allows each student to find the commitment level that is right for them, while still learning and growing as a dancer and future leader.  Turning Pointe Academy for the Performing Arts prides itself on having a qualified leadership team that provides excellent training, while creating a family atmosphere.

Our Mission

Offering a full Performing Arts curriculum, including piano lessons. Sharing our love of dance through community outreach. Imparting a technical education with a diverse and professional artistic staff. Providing a positive learning environment that promotes creativity and teamwork skills. Fostering a deep appreciation for the artistic beauty of dance.

Our Leadership Team
The faculty at Turning Pointe Academy for the Performing Arts is made up of professional educators and performers.  The cumulative experience and diversity give staff gives our students access to a broad range of teaching styles, dance technique, and advice.  Our main objective is to accommodate all families and students with the best possible dance education in an environment that fosters personal achievement and support from a caring and dedicated teaching staff.
